Founded by brothers Roy and Key Furr, the first Furr’s restaurant opened in Hobbs, New Mexico, in 1946, followed soon by the second in Odessa, Texas, in 1947. Furr’s food and innovative cafeteria concept proved immensely popular, and new restaurants were soon opening annually in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and Arizona. Today there are 16 Furr’s AYCE Marketplace in four states.
Today, just as in 1946, we’re committed to serving you and your family a fresh, delicious meal at an unbeatable price. For almost 70 years, our variety of freshly prepared home-style meals and mouthwatering desserts has kept our neighbors coming back for more. We use only the freshest ingredients and prepare our food daily to ensure each bite from start to finish is as flavorful and satisfying as the last.
And while we no longer serve our food cafeteria style (except in Farmington, NM), at Furr’s you can indulge in all-you-care-to enjoy servings of your favorite eats, from fresh salad and rolls to fresh desserts and pies.
Take a peek at today’s menu, and we’ll see you soon at Furr’s AYCE Marketplace.
